Final devlog

Astronauts: This is our final destination.

In this devlog we can officially say we completed the development of Super Galaxy Rugby.
Here are the latest changes:
We worked hard on making more FX to really make the game POP!
For instance, here is an indicator to show your dash is off cooldown.

Further we flattened the black hole to better sit on the field!

We also worked on sound, like fixing the black hole sound and adding a sound to the bumpers!
And we have reworked some visual aspects such as fixing the main map to better match with the main menu and fixing some hole that appeared thanks to the new camera angle.

Talking about the camera, we reworked the camera because it felt stiff and it felt weird when it followed the action. So now it smoothly follows the action and on goal, it zooms into the character that scored a goal.

Furthermore, you are now able to navigate our main menu with just your controller, no more need for the mouse!

We also added the FX our talented artists made and they are now visible in all their glory in-game.
And lastly, we fixed some of the last pesky bugs!

The final screws have been set and we will now introduce you to the full game one last time.

In Super Galaxy Rugby you play as a 2v2 Team, we have the natives on one side and the invaders on the other.
You can either play as the Frog or the Puffer, each having their own abilities!
The Puffer is big and strong and can knock the other players around with his strong dash. And because of his large build, the ball can bounce of him if he fails to catch it!
The Frog on the other hand is small, quick and nimble. He can dash more often and will automatically pick up the ball when dashing over it. Failing the ball, however, will result in him being bounced back.

The players play a 5-minute game where the goal is to score as many goals as possible! Scoring a goal by walking in will grant a single point, while throwing the ball will grant 3. This difference might not make sense in the beginning, but once there is a score difference, bouncy pads will come up on the losing side to prevent throwing goals. This will help the losing team in making a comeback!

There are bouncypads that bounce the ball and black holes that teleport the ball around the field to add some cool scoring opportunities!

Lastly, have fun! We, the development team, have loved working on this project and are proud of how it turned out.
We hope you all enjoy our game and we hope to make more exciting games in the future!
