Testing the spacesuits.
Greetings, fellow space enthusiasts! We're excited to share our latest progress on Super Galaxy Rugby, the epic space couch game we're working on.
In this devlog, we'll be discussing some of the key milestones we've reached recently. From testing out our space boots to writing our manifesto, we've been busy refining every aspect of the game to ensure that it lives up to our vision.
So sit back, strap on your helmets, and get ready to blast off into the stars!
Testing our space boots.
In Super Galaxy Rugby, we know that astronauts are nothing without their space boots. That's why we've been hard at work prototyping the general movement that our players will have in the game.
However, our game takes place in a unique setting, and we want to make sure that our players are trained to handle the challenges that come with it. Specifically, we're talking about our gravity fields, which are currently under construction.
Our gravity fields are a key element of the gameplay in Super Galaxy Rugby. These fields will attract the ball towards the center of the playing field and allow it to orbit around. This adds a fun and dynamic element to the game, as players must adapt their movements to account for the shifting gravitational forces.
Writing our manifesto
We've been busy writing our manifesto, which outlines the core principles and goals of our Super Galaxy Rugby game. This document will serve as a guide for our team as we continue to develop and refine the game.
The Tech document will detail the technical specifications of the game, such as the programming languages and software tools we'll be using. It will also outline the various systems and mechanics that will be present in the game, including character movement, combat, and exploration.
The art bible, on the other hand, will define the visual style and aesthetic of the game. It will include concept art, character designs, and level layouts, among other things. By establishing a clear and cohesive vision for the game's art, we can ensure that all of our artists are working towards the same goals and that the game looks and feels consistent throughout.
Overall, these documents will help us stay organized and focused as we continue to work on Super Galaxy Rugby. We're excited to share our progress with all of you, and we look forward to taking you on a journey through the stars!
